Dreamscape Code is a novel by Nima Golsharifi, published by Tingle Press in London on 10 October 2026. This page has the facts, the story of the Code as it really happened, and artwork you are welcome to use when writing about the book.
The true story of the Code
The line of signs on the book’s cover was drawn first, as ornament: a row of hooked marks stepping across the design. It was not a hidden message planted at printing.
Ten days before publication, a real script and language were built to fit those signs, and the author approved them. The script is called Sotak and the language Somka. Read with them, the cover line says Som ka retu: “To dream is to resist.”
We say this plainly because it is true, and because a puzzle is only fair if its history is honest. A dated log of how the language was made is at The Making of Somka.

Using the artwork
You may use these files to write about or review the novel. Please do not change them, combine the Eye with other symbols, or use them on merchandise. The Eye is the publisher’s mark.
Never show the Director’s Eye with pyramids, rays or other secret-society imagery, and never place the red splat beside words describing actions, attacks, aircraft or real places.
