SOTAK BOOK AND SOTAK CUT: THE FREE FAN LICENCE
DRAFT: wording for the author's approval (and a solicitor's review) before the fonts are released.

Copyright (c) 2026 Nima Golsharifi. Sotak is the script of the Code in Dreamscape Code,
published by Tingle Press.

You may, free of charge and for ever:
  - install and use these fonts on your own devices;
  - use them in anything you make for yourself or give away without charge: notes, letters,
    fan art, fan sites, school work, invitations;
  - use them for a tattoo on your own body (the tattoo check at /code/tattoo-check is free);
  - share these font files unchanged, with this licence, without charge.

You may not, without a licence from Tingle Press:
  - sell the fonts, or sell anything made with them (a personal licence and a commercial
    desktop licence are offered for that);
  - embed them in a website or an app (ask us);
  - suggest that something you made is official or endorsed by Dreamscape Code or Tingle Press.

Respect for the script: please never put Sotak on anything made to be stepped on or soiled
(floors, doormats, footwear, socks, underwear, bathroom goods). Its hooks resemble Arabic
letterforms.

The fonts are provided as they are, without warranty of any kind.
